About Development Ratings
Development Ratings CIC is a not-for-profit social enterprise which rates international development charities.
We have reviewed over 1,400 charities but only rate around 30 as fitting our rating criteria.
Like choosing a restaurant with a "Michelin Star", choosing a charity with a recommendation from Development Ratings ensures high-quality.
For us that means an organisation with demonstrable evidence of efficiency and effectiveness.
Our mission
Development Ratings' mission is to be a catalyst for funding the highest impact charities fighting poverty in developing countries.
How we can help you
We apply our unique research methodology to help individuals, companies and foundations with their giving strategy and assessing relevant international charities to partner with.
We also provide training in financial efficiency and effectiveness analysis using the examples from our rated organisations.
