• MicroLoan Foundation (MicroLoan) is a young, growing charity that extends micro-credit to women in Malawi.
• MicroLoan has provided small loans to over 40,000 women since 2002. This has indirectly impacted an estimated further 200,000 dependants.
• Portfolio quality is excellent with a repayment rate of 99%.
• MicroLoan is supported by a network of London businessmen who volunteer their time and expertise to the venture. As a result, MicroLoan is able to draw on a range of business skills.
• All staff employed by MicroLoan in Malawi, Zambia and Namibia are local people, providing appropriate knowledge in the supevision and management of operations.
